Together with our local South East Asian representatives, Quantel, we successfully carried out another EMC seminar/workshop which this time took place at the University of Bangkok. Attendants at the seminar were updated on all latest EMC standards, and were given the opportunity to work with some of the latest Haefely EMC stand alone and compact testing equipment. Due to high demand for such events, we frequently organise seminars and workshops all over the Asian region to ensure you are always up to date with all latest standards, and give you the chance to discuss with us face to face and answer any questions you may have. Quantel and Haefely EMC offer our South East Asian customers local service and sales support through the local Quantel offices and service centres in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and India.
2009 IEEE EMC Symposium, Austin, Texas USA, 17 - 21 August 2009 - link to exhibition Haefely EMC once again followed the tradition of exhibiting at one of the largest North American EMC tradeshows of the year, the 2009 IEEE EMC Symposium held at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas. All three items on display received much attention which included the ECOMPACT4 Transient Immunity Test System, the PSURGE 8000 Platform controller with the PIM100 combination waveform module, and the PESD3010 30kV Electrostatic Discharge Simulator which was shown in action throughout the week. Representing Haefely EMC was Brian Bolz, EMC Applications Engineer, along with Ryan Bares, the North American Regional Sales Manager and EMC Product Manager, both who operate out of our Brewster, NY facility. Haefely EMC will again be present next year at the IEEE EMC Symposium in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Seminar/Workshop Haefely EMC, Rohde & Schwarz ES, Barcelona/Madrid 26-28 May 2009 Together with the local Rohde and Schwarz office in Barcelona and Madrid, Haefely EMC organized a seminar/workshop where over 250 customers were informed on the current and latest EMC standards and testing requirements for conducted immunity pre-compliance testing. Due to the large turnout and success of this seminar and workshop we plan to organise the same event in 2010 which will again take place both in Barcelona and Madrid.
Techno-Frontier 2009, Japan, Chiba city, 15 - 17 April 2009 - link to exhibition Haefely EMC was again present at the Techno Frontier Week/EMC Japan Exhibition in Chiba, Japan. This is the second time Haefely EMC has attended the exhibition with our representative, Techno Science Japan. On display in the booth was our all-in-one box tester, ECOMPACT4; our top of the line platform system, PSURGE8000; and the PESD3010, electro-static discharge simulator. Despite the economic conditions the show was very well attended and we had many inquires into our EMC products. Haefely EMC was represented by our Product Manager, Ryan Bares who provide technical information on our existing products along with discussing some future products and changes in the EMC product line. Haefely EMC looks forward to seeing you next year at the Techno Frontier Week/EMC Japan Exhibition in 2010. Seminar/Workshop, Haefely EMC, Hyderabad, India, 1 April 2009 The Seminar/Workshop was organised together with our local representatives from Quantel. The aim of the event was to provide up to date information on the current and latest EMC standards and testing requirements for conducted immunity testing. Due to the success and high demand for such events, we are planing more seminars and workshops in other India regions for 2010.
Green power in the modern grid, California USA, 4 March 2009 Haefely EMC organized a training seminar in California to inform customers of green power testing standards. This seminar was co-sponsored by TUV Rheinland NA in Pleasanton California. Ryan Bares, our North American sales manager, along with our local representative company Arc Technical presented material on testing requirements for green power equipment. A variety of manufactures of green power equipment were present including; power inverter manufactures for solar and wind power generation, data communications manufactures, power relay manufactures, public utilities and variety of other manufactures. This event was a one day seminar and was well received by the attendees. Haefely EMC plans on doing a few more of the seminars in other territories.
