Along with our Haefely EMC surge systems we offer a number of options and accessories for a complete surge testing setup.
These include manual and automatic three phase CDNs up to 100A, verification and calibration accessories, control and reporting software, and of course various additional products that can be added to your existing Haefely EMC product range in order to carry out various other surge tests such as magnetic field and insulation tests.

VTM 15000 - Insulation test impulse transformer The VTM15000 can be added to any of your Haefely combination wave surge type generators for performing insulation tests. 1.2/50 voltage impulse output amplitude is doubled (ie 14.8kV with PIM100) source impedance 12, 40, 500 ohm separate output for each source impedance covers an number of standard requirements including IEC 60060, 60335, 61010, 61180.



MSURGE - Magnetic field tests Induction coils can be added to your system for performing magnetic field tests according to IEC 61000-4-9. To find out more about magnetic field tests, please refer to the magnetic fields section.



PDP 8000 - Differential Impulse Measuring Probe The PDP 8000 is used for calibration purposes as required by the latest standards, where the surge generator output has to be measured both in common mode and differential mode. devider ratio 1000:1 impulse measurement to 8kV single bnc output compatible to any oscilloscope type. separate power supply AC/DC measurement



WinFEAT&R Software The WinFEAT&R software is the latest generation of control and reporting software, based on a modern Drag and Drop concept, which offers such simplicity of use, that even users with minimum technical experience, will by carrying out tests in no time. This unique software allows users to run user specified or pre-defined tests according to the latest standards, and monitors and displays real time output current and voltage values. The software runs under all latest Microsoft Windows versions and is compatible with all stand alone Haefely EMC test generators. External Warning Lamp Connected to any generator, the additional, stand-alone wide viewing angle warning lamp indicates clearly the status of the test equipment using red &Š2green lights. External Emergency Stop Switch Connectedto any generator, the EMERGENCY STOP SWITCH, when activated instantlydischarges high voltage circuits and switches off power to the EUT. Calibration Accessories High Voltage Output plugs AllSurge generators have an internal calibration routine, to set thecorrect impulse level, which is controlled by the system firmware. Ahigh voltage plug with connected high voltage cables enables access forexternal impulse calibration.


PTC 360 - Safety test Cabinet To be used for component surge testing where the E.U.T. could explode and present a fragmentation hazard. PTC 360 connects to the Surge Coupling/Decoupling Network on the EUT side. The PTC 360 can be used together with all Haefely single and three phase CDNs. EUTs can be connected to single or three phase supplies while the surge pulse is applied. Connections are L1, L2, L3, Neutral and Earth. The effective test cabinet size is 452 x 487 x 1010mm allowing large components to be tested safely.
